What This Means for Buyers and Sellers
The October 21 housing market update highlights three important trends across the region:
Buyer activity remains consistent. Every county recorded an increase in home sales compared with the previous week's report, suggesting continued activity throughout the fall market.
Inventory is expanding. All seven counties reported an increase in available homes, providing buyers with additional opportunities to explore different neighborhoods and properties.
Pricing and presentation still matter. While sales remain active, the growing number of available homes means sellers need to differentiate their properties through strategic pricing, professional marketing, and strong presentation.
Looking Ahead
As we approach the final weeks of October, the Greater Philadelphia housing market continues to offer opportunities on both sides of the transaction. Buyers may benefit from expanding inventory, while sellers can take advantage of continued demand from motivated purchasers.
